bombing raids to the North. These raids take a heavy toll on the pilots with
many not coming back. Captain Na Gwan-jung is one of the bravest of the
bomber pilots whose best friend is married to the local town barmaid. One
day the Captain has the sad duty to tell his friend’s wife of her husband’s demise. While consoling her through her grief the two begin to fall in love.
