Seeking Volunteers for the London Korean Film Festival 2018

The 13th London Korean Film Festival (Nov 1 – Nov 25) is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to carry out specific roles across the Festival and during the build-up.

Our volunteer programme is a good way to gain experience in a variety of areas from event
production to technical, hospitality and dignitary management, volunteers will also gain an
insight into the film festival sector and Korean culture. Depending on the shift, volunteer will
receive a meal and travel expenses when working over 4 hours on any given day. All
volunteers will receive a certificate at the end of the festival as well.

Your work will include a range of promotional activities during the pre-festival period (5 Oct
– 31 Oct) followed by preparing and assisting in events/screenings during the festival in
London (1 Nov – 14 Nov). During the festival your responsibilities will include providing
customer service to our audiences, guests and delegates, as well as runner tasks, while
volunteers available before the Opening Night (Nov 1) will have the opportunity
to shadow members of the Marketing, Events and Guest departments, taking on general office
administration tasks, helping prepare the 2018 London Korean Film Festival.


Specific working hours and duties will differ for each programme/event.

Eligibility: Over 18s

Festival Location: Central London, East and North London.
