In a world where self-worth is determined by wealth, Park Seoyoung (Jang Liu) is a woman in debt. After being fired from her supermarket job for deceiving customers, she pressures her sick mother to disappear in a bid to save money on hospital fees. The corruption continues when Seoyoung befriends troublemakers at her new workplace and consorts with a morally-questionable monk. Meanwhile, her disabled brother, Youngjun (Jin Yong-uk) struggles in his attempts to find a wife and further his career.
